Project Model Local Council (MLC) aims to involve young people in the local decision-making process through workshops and the simulation of the deliberative meetings of the local council. This way, young people get involved in the life of the local community, learn about administrative law, prepare for a career in the administrative field and contribute to solving current problems in society. The educational workshops are kept by teachers specialised in field of law and logic-philosophy, with the direct participation of legal practitioners: lawyers, councelors and politicians.
The thematic workshops are coordinated by professional adults in the field of law and local administration: lawyers, local councilors, politicians, logic-philosophy teachers. Experienced young people are given the role of group leaders and actively participate in the organization of non-formal educational activities.
