"As a teacher, I had the privilege of accompanying delegations to the active citizenship programs organized by the foundation in 2022. I came back convinced that the programs are coordinated by professional people, who know how to protect the exceptional minds and souls of teenagers and offer them the right direction for intellectual and affective development.
Both the intensive training activities, as well as teambuilding and entertainment activities, connected students in compact groups, where the personal development of each participant was encouraged with great attention. By involving youngsters in such programs, we give a chance to a healthy and responsible future! The story of such learning opportunities for youngsters must be spread!"

Since 1997 the foundation develops projects for children and young people in partnership with public institutions and NGOs from Romania and abroad, aiming to encourage the active citizenship and volunteering, promoting European principles and institutions, the rule of law, respect for fundamental human rights, and the involvement of young people in local communities.
We are developing leadership programs and simulations the decisional process of European institutions, international youth exchanges programs within European Erasmus+, publishing youth publications, supporting young people and young families with fewer opportunities, programs for children and young people with disabilities, orphans from foster shelters or family-type homes, counseling programs for adoptive families and for adopted children (especially in the case of children who are difficult to adopt: with disabilities, medical problems or of Rroma ethnicity), career counseling for young people from disadvantaged categories, etc.
The foundation promotes the accessibility of educational institutions for students with disabilities or from disadvantaged social backgrounds, supporting the schooling of children and young people with fewer opportunities for reducing illiteracy and for facilitating their inclusion in the local community.

„Participating the programs of active citizenship, helped me understand the roles of the European institutions and the difference between the European Commission, European Council and the European Parliament. I improved my English skills the ability to speak up, to attack, to defend, to communicate. By doing group activities, I managed to get over my social anxiety; I improved my public speaking and managed to communicate with amazing people. True management of "butterflies" for sure!„
„Participating the exchange programs Erasmus+, I learned how to present a point of view in a democratic way, to shape realistic solutions, to organize my own thoughts and ideas. Now I can respond to criticism and recommendations in a more constructive way. I learned that I can share different ideas with other people and still be compatible as a team. Overall, I'm going to pay way more attention to all activities that happen around me, in my community. Shortly is was about communication, information gathering and classification, active listening and for sure about building new friendships!„
„The world is so diverse and beautiful, but at the same time we are more alike than we are different. The way different cultures have shaped and formed around the world is simply remarkable, but no matter how different our cultures are, I learned that deeply we are all the same. Shortly: it was about tolerance, volunteering and overcoming communication barriers! School will be a huge stage on which the participant students will exercise their gained abilities and will convince the others to join. I want to get more involved in all areas of volunteer work that directly benefits my community.„
„Coming back home, I feel much more capable of helping others through my positions in other youth organisations. I realized how much impact youngsters can have on current problems, not only at European level, but also in everyday life. For that reason, I want to make my voice heard and make changes possible. The Plenary was one of those moments were I wasn’t controlled by my anxiety. My desire to speak up and debate about important issues was the only thing that mattered. Even though I didn’t manage to make myself as noticeable as I planned, deep down I know how much impact this entire experience had on my personal development.„
